Altimex is a company created at the beginning of 2010 by Mr. Werner Mühlemann.
The career of Mr. Mühlemann started in 1974, when he joined Provimar in Barcelona (Spain), a company which belonged to the Weitnauer Group in Switzerland.

After serving 36 years in Provimar and EMS, Mr. Mühlemann decided to start his own business and as a result, Altimex was founded on the 1st of April 2010.

Today, with owner and staff having up to 40 years of experience, Altimex is the leading wholesaler for the Duty Free Business in the Maritime sector, serving all Mediterranean ports.

Apart, Duty Free operators are served in Northern Europe, Africa, Middle East and Far East.

LOCATION

Altimex is located approximately 10 minutes from Barcelona Airport and 20 minutes from the City Centre and the Port, giving us excellent and fast access for Road, Sea and Air transport.
